Arrival to Mexico City

City Tour – Museum of Anthropology
• We will take you to the historical centre of Mexico City and you will see: “Zocalo”, the main national square, ruins of the ancient Aztec city Tenochtitlan, the Cathedral and the National Palace with murals made by Diego Rivera. During the City tour we also will visit the famous Anthropology Museum with the great collection of preHispanic artefacts.

Teotihuacan Pyramids – The Shrine of Our Lady Guadalupe
• Breakfast at the hotel.
• This tour will take you to the archaeological site of Teotihuacán, which is one of the most impressive sites of the Aztec World. Located only one hour outside of Mexico City. You will have a chance to see the complexities of Aztec treasures, the magnificent Pyramids of the Sun and the Moon. Also, you will see the Butterflies Temple, the Avenue of the Dead, and the Temple of Quetzalcoatl. On the way back we will visit the Basilica of Guadalupe, the first place of pilgrimage in Mexico.

Tolantongo Tour
• Early pick up and transfer to Tolantongo. Visit the hot springs and caves at Grutas Tolantongo. Box lunch on a way.

Frida Kahlo Museum – Xochimilco
• The tour start with visit of Coyocan district of Mexico City, there the house of the famous Mexican painter Frida Kahlo (1907-1954) is located. Frida was confined to a wheelchair and lived here with her husband Diego Rivera from 1929 until her death. The rooms have been left just as they were during her lifetime. Than we continue to Xochimilco, which is an incredibly scenic area in the south of Mexico City, just an hour south from Mexico City’s historical centre. On this tour you can drift in a flat-bottomed boat through the lovely floating gardens of Xochimilco and marvel at the once-enormous agrarian canal system that fed the Aztec capital. In Aztec times, with prime farmland being scarce, the Indians developed a system of floating reed mats loaded with soil and used them as gardens.
